Celebrating Women’s History Month: Exploring Connections with the Women in Our Lives
Come celebrate women’s history month by spending an afternoon exploring the connections with the women who have had the biggest impacts in your life. Mothers, daughters, sisters, best friends, teachers—each of these relationships affect who we are today and how we relate to those around us. Maybe it’s an aunt, a boss or a coach who made an unexpected difference in your life. Learn how to draw inspiration from the women around you and use their influence to inspire you towards your own goals.
Using writing prompts and journal exercises, this interactive workshop will explore our personal histories for those moments and relationships that have contributed in some way to the people we are today. You will have the opportunity to honor those connections that have inspired you and make lemonade from those relationships that have had a souring influence. All are welcome! Bring a pad of paper and a pen, and prepare for an afternoon of fun!
"How important it is for us to recognize and celebrate our heroes and she-roes!"
